Mustard Seed Chocolate

Description: These 70% organic dark chocolate bars are made with a custom-designed mold featuring a geometric pattern and the Mustard Seed logo. The boxes for six types of chocolate differ by unique illustrations of the flavor ingredients, overlaid with a simple hand-drawn pattern in MSM yellow. All package designs share typographic and layout characteristics.

Objective: This was a packaging assignment for a new line of chocolate bars from Mustard Seed Market & Café. The brand for this new product must match the look and feel of current MSM branding, yet stand out from other brands when placed on the chocolate shelf. I started with the idea of a custom-designed mold, and developed the brand from multiple concepts and styles to find a simple yet creative solution.
